Beggartees.com is a site dedicated to raising awareness about homelessness. Three percent of all people in the United States will face homelessness in their lifetime. That's a whopping ten million people. A lot of the time you will see them holding their signs, asking for anything you can spare. unfortunately, many times their pleas are ignored. Homeless people face starvation. They have to face the elements, unprotected by a shelter. They have to face extreme heat or extreme cold, oftentimes, in the height of the summer and depths of the winter. Our shirts are a way to raise awareness about this problem. What they would traditionally write on their signs is instead printed on a custom printed shirt that you can order. You can wear the shirt yourself or give one to a homeless person so they can wear it instead of having to hold a sign. A minimum of fifty percent of all proceeds is donated to help homeless people with things like food, clothing and shelter.
